For the first time ever, UAB Business School may have an African American lead its program. Eli Jones, executive education at the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business, is one of three finalists for the position. Other finalists include David R. Klock, dean of the College of Business Administration at California State Polytechnic University and Frank Messina, chair of the UAB Department of Accounting and Information Systems. The new dean will replace Bob Holmes, whose nearly decade-long tenure at the school is coming to an end.
