Zecco is a new online broker that offers its users 40 free trades per month and only $3.50 past that. Unlike many discount brokers, they offer OTCBB trading (notice: SEC info on microcaps).
There is no minimum deposit and you can even expand your account to include options ($3.50 plus $.60 per contract).
I've been using Zecco for a while now and have been happy for the most part. You don't get any frills and I don't recommend trying to get customer service through email (calling works well), but the price can't be beat and is perfect for young investors.
