McCombs (Univ of Texas) Shuns Big Tobacco Money

The total sum garnered last year was not a ton, but still totaled $120,000. The move is not so bold as to stop the firms from recruiting at the school, but still represents a strong statement from a business school. "What it came down to for us was the ethical dimension," said George Gau, dean of the McCombs School of Business.
Four of Top Five MBA Programs in US, Financial Times Says

It was followed by London Business School, Columbia Business School, Stanford University GSB, and Harvard Business School. MIT (Sloan) and the University of Chicago GSB were also in the top 10. Sloan made a significant jump from #14 last year to #7 this year.
